I received a mini cardboard rhino as a gift this week. It’s so delightful! I have seen deer heads available on the web both as a kit, similar to the ones shown below, and also as a solid cardboard shape, but I was not familiar with all the other cardboard creations out there. Cardboard Safari offers more than just these beastly animals if you like the look. Check out their site for wreath kits, rockets, and more.
I’m thinking I may paint my new friend a bright color…any suggestions? All images from www.cardboardsafari.com.

I’d paint him turquoise, the color of the year! Maybe with brown antlers.
I’ve seen them before with mod paper glued to the front side of each panel. I must say, it looked pretty cool.
Did you know they are made right in Charlottesville?
Hi Katie, I did not know this company was in Charlottesville! It makes sense though, because the person that bought me the rhino purchased it at Rock Paper Scissors in town there. How fun that they are local!
I am amazed at these everytime! I like turquoise as well!
