Would you like a pair of bookends like the ones I made for Violet’s room?
I made an extra set out of some really fun fabric, fancy tweed and gold silk.
All you have to do is give us a little feedback. We’d really like to know what you want to see more of here at Urban Nest:
- Peachy projects from our own houses, like these: fabulous foyer, DIY lamp shade, and faux furniture.
- Delicious downloadables, like these: office labels, bookplates, and invitations.
- Chic sewing patterns, like these: sunglasses case, cocktail napkins, and storage bins.
- Tried-and-true treats, like these: chocolate-orange cookie stacks, whipped cream, cute cookies.
- Or something else!
Do tell by next Friday, and one reader will be selected at random to receive her/his own set of fabulous fabric bookends made by yours truly!

I like house projects… they give me motivation and ideas to do new things around the house.

I love to read about the projects you do in your own homes and I really like the recipes for yummy treats.
I love the downloads and the sewing projects.
I love all four… But the projects from your own homes give me lots of great ideas I can replicate and the downloads are great since I’m not a designer – it’s like having my own personal graphic artist on call!
I would LOVE to see more sewing projects. I’m saving up my cereal boxes for the storage bins. Either that or the Peachy Projects.
In Fact, I’m dying to know how to make these bookends… but if I win a set, I won’t have to make my own
Personally, I’d love to see more sewing projects. I have so many lined up already, but I do love to add more to my list.
these are fabulous! I always love seeing your homes. gorgeous and so inspiring.

I like seeing what you’ve done with thrift store finds or with pieces that struck you but did not have a spot for, until you re-birthed them. In fact, as I was previewing items for a certain yard sale, I recall seeing upholstery swatches and wondered how they could be used. Now, I have an idea! I think this Saturday is going to be a pretty big Yard Sale day!
Cute! I love all the sewing projects and general home decor.
house projects! they just keep me coming back. delicious downloadables are an added bonus though!
I’d love to see more of the downloadables & house projects. Your projects are so inspiring…can’t wait to see more!
I’d love to see more DIY projects and Interior design features! So creative and inspiring
More house projects and downloadables please!

The projects from your own houses really inspire me! I love seeing what you come up with. Tired and true treats are great, too! I made the chocolate-orange cookie stacks last night…they were easy and marvelous!!! The downloads are fun; but as for the sewing, that doesn’t happen much at my house
Your blog is such a treat for me… thanks!

I love all the makeovers – especially when you find your bargains and make them over! The bookends are darling and would look perfect in my very pink, girls’ bedroom!
more diy and pics of your home projects.
I can’t wait to own my own house so that I can use some of your home ideas as inspiration!
I’m easy to please. I love seeing what you’ve done & then putting my own spin on it to fit my style or lack of lol. I really enjoy the thrift store/yard sale finds & home decor the most. Thanks!
I always love a good DIY – so keep ‘em coming please!
